Peppery strawberry and mozzarella salad

I owe this inspiration to my friend Dessy, who brought the most amazing cherry balsamic vinegar from Italy. I am sure the salad will turn out great with any good balsamic vinegar, but the cherry flavor was truly a gift.

To enjoy this amazing spring salad, choose bigger strawberries that you can cut in 4 or 6 pieces. Use your favorite type of mozzarella to prove that two ingredients that taste amazing on their own, can be even greater together.

For 2 servings, you need:

1 large ball fresh mozzarella (4 oz)
1 cup strawberries, each cut in 4 to 6 pieces
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
8-10 pepper corns, crushed

Mix all in a bowl and serve on their own or over mixed greens.
